The Everipedia team plans to build a modern, convenient and decentralized new encyclopedia website, and this goal will be realized with the development of blockchain technology. The new version of Everipedia under development will be based on the EOS network, which will have features such as community autonomy, shielding preventation, and contribution incentives compared to the current version of Everipedia. 1. Community autonomy. IQ tokens have certain functions in Everipedia ecology，which also representscertain interests. IQ tokenscan be used to encourage the edit of correct and reasonable content，and the community can change the rules of the website independently. Community autonomy can berealized through three modules: IQ token module, governance module and articlemodule. The IQ token module is responsible for making changes to the token balances of addresses，which includes the transferal of tokens, application of transaction fees, the minting of new tokens, and locking tokens for the article consensus process. The token has a fixed amount of additional shares every day, and the additional issuance is awarded to edit contributors. Governance actions can modify the software for any of the three modules, but not the databases containing token balances and articles. The article module is used to modify the content of entires in the database. The modification of content requires a small amount of IQ token to be mortgaged. If more than 75% of the votes are passed, an additional token reward can be obtained; if achieved 50%-75% votes , editors will not receive token rewards; and if the vote is less than 50%, the modification will not pass, and the mortgaged token will be destroyed.
2.More Secure Content.The blockchain technology ensures that the content is tamper-resistant and the history of changes would be recorded to prevent from being blockedlike a centralized servers.The entry on the Everipedia website is planned to be stored on the nodes of the EOS network via the IPFS protocol. Any node can feed back entry information to users, so it is difficult for organizations to easily block access by shielding the centralized server. Anyone who can connect to the EOS network via the Internet can access the decentralized Everipedia website.
3. Quick Access to Modification History of Entries. Everipedia uses two-column element storage form when stored on the EOS Network. The first column is the hash value ofthe current entry, and the second column is the hash value of the term when it was last modified.
This storage method can link multiple versions of the entry, which will build a tree-like IPFS hash database, so it can support quick access to the modification history of entries.

On Oct 2nd, 2018, Everipedia has officially removed all IQ transfer fees. Fees were originally meant to support RAM and CPU for the network as a monetization option. The fees were meant to be taxed through an in-dApp DEX, which has not materialized so Everipedia is planning to shelf the fee feature until community decision and more development of DEX and in dapp solutions.
Everipedia do not plan to bring the fees back unless community votes for a return.
The fees collected from this point on will be burnt out of circulation and will not go to the company, team members, or any other entity. This, in turn, will lower the total circulating supply of IQ tokens and return value back to the token holders.

1.3.1 Value Analysis of IQ Token
The basic token in everipedia is IQ token. IQ is useful in :

New IQ token is created everyday. To prevent non-meaningful content, users who submit edition need to mortgage some IQ tokens for 21 days. When a article is submitted, users can have 72 hours to vote. Every IQ token is regarded as one vote. When less than 50% agree, the mortgaged IQ token will be burned. when 50%-75% agree, the mortgaged token will be returned. then more than 75% agree, additional token will be awarded. The total amount of IQ will increase at 5% to match the inflation of EOS. This rate is modifiable through governance.
